Hi folks H^^, Im having trouble wiring in an illuminated switch (rocker type) so that the light on the switch comes on . Its (was; now melted!) a 12v/16amp rated, with 3 terminals. Have no problem with the old style toggle switch thats in place for now.
I,m doing something wrong but what?
Thanks for any advice on this coz i,ve pulled out what little hair I had left!
Cheers Phil

Hi Phil, It is difficult for me to help without a little more information. Did you get any wiring instructions supplied with the switch ( there may be a little diagram embossed on the plastic side of the switch)? If so, what does it look like? If not can you use an ohm meter to work out what terminal is connected to what when the switch is operated?

Hi Charlie, Thankyou for the reply, had a chat with an electrician and has given details to fix it (hopefully!). I'll try it later,If it works I'll post up some pictures so others can see y1

It Works!! Did try to post some images yesterday but file size was an issue. Couldn't fix that 'till I found www.shrinkpictures.com
So here goes.....

seems the file size is still an issue!....

Attachment sizes here must be under 1000kb...total, per post. Sparky says 10 maximum per post. It's pretty easy to make it to 100kb each, for most file types. Yours could have been a lot larger! Try for about 650 pixels wide, and keep the aspect ratio as-is. Nice to crop out a bunch of useless 'data', while you're at it.
The lighted switch is a good idea, especially if it's an efficient light source, like LED. Another good idea is those Graupner propellers. Good stuff, but not as friendly a price as the Thunder Tiger "Cyclone" props...also very good if they have the right size for your application. H^^ Steve

Steve thanks for that, I tried posting all 3 images at once but for some reason didn't work
I havn't seen the 'cyclone' props in my hobby shop maybe more luck on the internet. I've got dubro spinners so they need to fit like the groupners. (don't want to cut and hack them about). Cheers Phil ~>
