Good news and not so good news
« on: February 05, 2008, 04:03:18 PM »
My 2nd oldest son, a Sargent in the Marines, just made it back from round 3 in Iraq. Always a good thing. The not so good news is that my youngest, a Corpman in the Navy, Medic, is deploying in 22 days. He is attached to a Marine unit out here in 29 Palms, Ca. Mom and Dad just can't seem to get much of a break.

It wasn't that you could and others couldn't, its that you did and others didn't.

Good to hear one is safe and sound.  Tell the one that is leaving to take care of himself.  Thank both of them for the old DOC Holliday for protecting us and conserving our freedom.
