So that nobody is left out of future events at Alameda...
« on: June 01, 2010, 09:01:42 PM »
...all Alameda CA events are listed on Heman Lee's great web site, aeromaniacs.com. This lists stunt, carrier, racing, 1/2A, and barbecue dates. The next one is July 4, 2010, which is some sort of holiday. All are welcome any time, holiday or not. This is a city park devoted exclusively to control line model flying, with a paved circle for 65-foot lines (grass center if you prefer grass to land or crash on) and  our very own outhouse. A few minutes from a wide variety of coffee places, delis, grocery stores; not out in the boonies. Anybody lurking in the NorCal or Central region who has not dropped by, here is your invite!

It's a great site....Edith and I visited it a couple years ago while visiting the Bay area....
There is also an exhibit in the nearby Aviation Museum...
Have fun!
