Wanted....Aircraft restoration sites

Hi all.  I am trying to find video's on the net of aircraft restorations.  I can find these short video's of walk-arounds and stuff, but none of the nitty gritty, "this is how we do it" kind.  Does anyone have any sites they care to share?  Thanks all.

What comes to mind is the EAA. I am not sure it has what you want, but if you are really excited by aircraft restoration, it really is worth joining. I am thinking they have a subgroup on restoration.

You would have a lot of sites if you look into the C.A.F. as that's what we do.  Restore and fly vintage aircraft.  If you ever get out here to Reno, I can personally show you several restorations ongoing and you can take all the pictures you want.  We are currently restoring an F-86F and would say it's about 3 to 4 years down line before it fly's.  Also, we have an N3N-3 that is flyable and undergoing its annual inspection at this time.  Larry

Here is another link for you.  http://www.militaryaviationmuseum.org/  Check out their links especially the Fighter Factory link.  There are various warbirds under restoration.  This is the outfit that has a lot of the planes on the Military Channel "Great Planes" show.

Try    www.mapsl.co.uk  They have restored some very rare aircraft here in the UK. The chap in charge of the workshop is my old mate Charlie Atkins, a superb aeromodeller, and model engine maker, and still flies a bit of C/L now and then!

No you're not! I like to see old things restored too  In fact I was asked by Charlie Atkins at MAPS (as Above) if I would like to join the band of volunteers at Rochester airport and help work on these old aircraft? Oh how I would love to!!!!! but time is my worst enemy at the moment! But, if this useless government ever let me retire, well, I'll be there!
