The winner for Christmas drawing is #56 Jerry Bohn
1 Brodak Ares and a Brand New PA.40 ultra light and accessories in the aid of finishing this plane.
I do apologize for not being able to give everyone a Christmas gift. Please realize this is a huge undertaking as it is and maybe next year we can do more. But for now, Jerry Bohn Congratulations and please share you experiences with us. The reason I chose the Ares If any of you remember last Christmas I built my 59 Ares . I would like to thank the many contributers that have helped make this happen.

Robert did you get my responce with my mailing address?
Now this is a plane I can get into making look pretty and an engine that can haul it well enough so I don't have any excuses for not flying better.

I hate to bring bad news to this thread and wonderful event.Jerry Bohn was one of my few bEST friends. He passed away Dec.21,2007 from a sudden heart attck while at work-Jerries widow knew that Jerry and I have been best friends from grade school on-She also knew that Jerry and I talked planes everyday on the net.Jerry lived in Colorado and I live here in Western Michigan.Jeannen sent me all of Jerries C/L engines including the wonderful PA-40 that he won from the Christmas drawing. She could`nt send me his Ares that he had allready started. So I`m just stating here that I will buy an Ares and use the engine the way Jerry would have wanted.I just wanted to let all you guys know why Jerry never made it back here to update you all on his Ares-PA-40 progress as I`m sure he would have loved to-I pledged to do it for him-

Such sad news, I hope someone can contact his widow and help her out. My thoughts go with her in how to dispose of what he may have. Maybe someone can take the Ares and finish it for him. DOC Holliday

I have been in contact with Jerries widow, she doing as well as expected and getting on with life as one has to.She said she contacted a local club there in Longmont(or nearby The Greeley Hobby Club)) and gave all of Jerries stuff(trains and finished planes)to them. She was glad to give them to people who appreciated Jerries efforts.

I am very sad to hear of Jerry's passing. I had not heard from him in a whjile, but didn't tink much of it. Not to hear this, it is truly sad.
