Windy U 960 not on YouTube?

During my exercise routine for the last few months I have been watching the Windy videos on building his Big-Job.  It really helps make the time spent doing stretches and sit-ups and stuff go by pleasently.  I just finished 959 and he has clear-coat on everything and it looks like it is ready for final assembly.

But when I search for 960, it is not to be found!  Does anyone know if he made a 960 tape/DVD or has it not been uploaded yet?

  Whose channel are you watching? I just finished digitizing the Walt Brownell collection, and Kevin King uploaded to the Brownell Channel, and with over 600 tapes, his didn't go that high. The last ones he had were the 2005 NATS, and the 2004 Subscriber series, which ended at #567 I think.  There are over 1000 videos on the channel now, but I don't see anything for the Big Job. There are many gaps in what we uploaded on our project, and hopefully these can be plugged over time. Anything that is on video tape is 30 years old or older and pretty fragile, and the quality isn't the best because it all depends on how Windy recorded it and recopied it, and nothing can be done about that.

It was under CL Guy on YouTube.  Here is the last one I was watching (959):

I did find 961, but a search for 960 turns up nada.  I guess I'll continue with 961.

Windy has a mountain of info in his videos, but we have limited time in this life: in my allotted time for model airplanes I can either watch Windy's videos or I can get a plane built.  Happily (I guess) I get bored working out so I liven up my exercise sessions by watching Windy's videos.

I guess I am almost at the end of the Big-Job videos so now i'll have to decide what to view next while I'm doing my sit-ups and stuff.  Maybe his videos on building the Tribute?  Does anyone know what his last videoed plane-build was?

I just checked CL Guy again and could not find any video above 962, so maybe the videos on Big-Job were the last model airplane videos he did?

My guess is two things:

1. Windy loved his music, problem is YouTube hates music in videos, so much that they block it and throw the user in FB jail until you delete the video. Then put you on probation.
2. I never had the video.

Put on some good music and finish your workout! 😂

I think I saw it at Bob's "Before the Snow Flies" contest last fall.  I should have taken a better look at it then, but that was before I started watching the Big Job videos.

I'll just move on to 961 and 962.

After that maybe I'll start watching the Tribute videos.  Someone was supposed to be doing the plans for the Tribute, but I guess never quite got them done.

I guess I am not the only one who was doing the same. I jump around youtube quite a bit while on the treadmill but Windy's videos are one of my staples. Some of them have pretty good sound while other not so much so I will take a minute or two to dig up one with decent sound.

If you are looking for stuff to watch and assuming that you are interested in aviation, take a look for the following channels:

Aircrew interview:  Mostly military out of the UK, some really great interviews and funny stories. Mostly jet age.
Rex's hangar:  Short videos on many aircraft ranging from WWI and later.
greg's airplanes and automobiles: If you like a more technical discussion, mostly WWII.
