Title: Windy City Classic
Post by: Crist Rigotti on May 24, 2015, 09:16:40 AM
Thanks to Mike and all the guys for a very nice contest.  The weather was very good with a nice breeze.  The hot dogs were great too.  It was nice seeing everybody again.

Crist,
It was great seeing you again at the Windy City Classic. Although I must admit I almost had "The Big One" when I first saw you there. It was a complete surprise. We normally don't get fliers driving up to Chicago from Texas for our contest. Congratulations on your well deserved first place finish in Expert with your newly minted Legacy 40. It's a beautiful plane especially with the wing-mounted gear you used. Drive safe my friend.

Wow! That great electric Legacy build that we all followed paid off! Way to go Crist!

Great looking bunch of models -- wish I could have been there.

Planned on making this one but a last minute business trip to Mexico coupled with lodging issues kept me away.  Next year I will formulate plans B and C to be sure I am there.  Looks like it was a good time.

John,
I had heard you might be attending. Sorry that other commitments prevented that. Hopefully we will see you soon. Are you going to the NATS or FCM this year?
