Post by: Crist Rigotti on May 22, 2014, 08:06:05 PM
Does anybody have a flyer for this contest?

I don't,  but I would think the contest would have flyers in it! (Sorry, couldn't resist! LL~)

Seriously, I thought I saw something on here or in the events section on it. Might have even been in my email. If I find it I'll forward it.
   Type at you later,
Dan (probably not going anywhere this weekend) McEntee

The copy in the club section is the actual flyer, without the photo from last year

Where is the club section?  I heard we are flying 1/2A stunt and there is no mention of 1/2A stunt in the links you provided.

Crist,

We are all looking forward to seeing you at the Windy City Classic.  The quickest way to find out any
information on the contest would be to contact either Mike Schmitt or Dennis Vanderkuur, however.

Tomorrow, we'll be preening the circles for your flying pleasure.

     Best regards,

     Dick

1/2A stunt contest is scheduled for later in the summer, September? I'll announce it here as we get closer. Extra points for flapless and solid balsa wing. This will be the beginner pattern.

Crist, I wonder if you might have been thinking of the Pewaukee, Wisconsin event?  I think that's coming in just a couple weeks or so and they are offering 1/2A stunt and scale. Sorry, but I don't have any details on that.

Crist, there is no official 1/2A stunt separate from the usual PAMPA classes. The Windy City Classic will be the same as usual. You're welcome to fly any plane including a 1/2A, but I don't recommend it. As Steve mentioned the Club will be having a 1/2A stunt contest later this year, but it is a club contest for Chicagoland Circle Cutter members only. He may be confused about this?

The Milwaukee contest will have 1/2a stunt and scale.  It is on June 8.

The flier is here.

Yeah I have the June 8 flyer.  I thought a buddy of mine said Chicago was having a 1/2A contest.  Thanks everybody.  See you guys on Sunday.

Chris.  I think that the Tree Town club is having a 1/2 A contest sometime this Summer.

This is a bit off topic but the Flying Aces club in Michigan are holding a 1/2 A contest which features 1/2 A Ringmasters.

Here is a link to their information:
