1) Because he didn't want me to be the only one this year to do a minus 1" altitude inverted pullout over asphalt during an official flight at a contest
.
2) Because, being a fearless competitor, he pushed himself and his plane to the limit in difficult wind conditions.
3) Because he paid the price, as many of us have, for bending the rule to not make changes to flight equipment (in this case, handle line spacing) just before an official flight.
4) Because his beautiful plane, which was originally named "Harbinger" and later renamed "Hamburger" by Sparky, will now be known as "Ground Sirloin"
