Air Combat series on HDT
« on: March 10, 2010, 04:06:49 PM »
I was watching part of the Air Combat series on HDT (high def TV). Pretty cool. The two I've watched have been the Wildcat VS the Zero and the Lightening vs. the Zero. There are upcoming installments on the Mustang, Bearcat and Corsair (that I've been able to find and set the TIVO thing to pick up. Neat series in which they have faithfully restored aircraft that are examined, CGI combat scenes and profiles on guys like Thresh (author of the Thresh Weave) and Bong (Ace of Aces with 40 kills).

Watch it if you have and HD TV and access to HDT. The episodes are broadcast 4 or 5 times at various times before the next installment comes up.

Great Series. However, their where a lot of stories of flyer's that fought. I know that they only concentrated on the Allies but what about other countries. Russia, Korea, Israel, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Argentina. There are LOT-S-O-STORIES.

Bring back the 1960's "COMBAT" and "Twelve -O'clock High"  H^^
