Wish I was there, but for some reason, just didn't make the trip.  Who managed to get the trophy for a year??

Congratulations goes to Will Moore!

Thanks for posting the info. Damian,

I just got off the phone with Will. I called to congratulate my good friend and ask him to post some photos and details for us to see here on SH.

This is a great New England contest in beautiful Wrentham Mass. Will has been looking forward to this contest all year, so I am glad he did so well. They don't use AP so that makes his 540 score very good indeed. :-)

Will used his beautiful Electric Powered Thunder Cloud to win the top trophy. It has a Plentenberg 30-14 with a 5S 3800 Thunder Power battery.

We all had a great time at the meet.  Weather was cool, wind was between 5 and 12 mph
and sometimes a little turbulent, but most of the time just right.

We had good competition in Advance, and some new people showed up doing very well.

Chris Sarnowski will post all the results in the "contest results" section of the forum.

We all want to thank the CD, Dick Wolsey who also judged along with Steve Yampowsky ( who was the last year
winner of the cup, but who decided to offer his help in judging this year) .

Guerry Byers was Dick's assistant to run the show, and we thank him also , as without these gentlemen, there would
be no contest.

This was a great contest, not because I won, but because of all of you who were there !

Looks like you had a good time!  I was hoping to give you some competition in expert, but we just never made the trip, for reasons I still don't know why.
