Landed my P-51 profile inverted and bent the needle valve, so need to replace it.
Who sells the good ST-46 needle valves (I understand that some reproductions of it are not made correctly and I would just as soon avoid them.)
Thanks!

Check out Harry Higgly products. They used to sell them two to a package and I used them in my ST G-51's. They were really long but were the right needle length and worked well. Then the reduced the package to one per package but kept the price the same!! I don't know if they still offer them but that was the last place I bought some from.
Type at you later,

Scott,
Also, consider heating the needle red hot, then bending it super short. Typical for combat, where inverted landings are common.
Sorry that LA 46 is giving trouble. Might check the tank for air holes, try replacing the plug. Don't think that restricting the tongue muffler by closing holes will help, as engines tend to run best with no muffler restricting them at all.

RSM Distribution sells them. I believe they are in the vendor section.

i Scott, Once you get you new needle valves or NVA, be sure to heat the needle cherry red and let it cool on a safe surface. Then if you do happen to land upside down or in some other awkwad way you won't break it off and you'll be able to straighten it out to use again! Old Combat trick which still has merit!
