Great cover.  Haven't read the article yet.  It's about time U-Control gets some cover page exposure!   CLP** (PE**)

Shocked and AMAZED that MA published a CL plan...AND put it on the cover. I was curious about the nose construction and so went to the AMA website and opened up the plans file. Apparently intended for downloading and printing on 8.5 x 11 paper (or whatever the metric size they use now?), to patch together and make a set of plans that way. OMG.

NOT what I expected, and IMO NOT a good way to encourage actually building the model. But maybe that's what AMA wants, i.e., make a show, but actually encourage the sale of ARF's...or at least kits. And I just sent in my $75 for 2025 membership. Arrrg!  R%%%% Steve

I'm late to the party here, but let me add my congratulations to Frederico for "finally" getting his outstanding Hole Shot Master into print. When Frederico first sent me photos of his model I suggested that we might be able to get it published as a construction feature in Model Aviation. Fred went to work on the article and the plans and presented a very professional package to me, which I in turn sent to MA. It took a while (a long while...) for this to reach fruition, but I think the results were worth the wait.

The cherry on the top of all this was Frederico getting the cover! That's two Model Aviation CL covers in one year!

It was a distinct pleasure working with Frederico to bring this project to fruition; he's a fantastic designer/builder/finisher, but also a class act as a human being. Proud to call him a friend!

Later - Bob Hunt

I connot be happier and prouder with the article published, let alone on the cover of Model Aviation! and to paraphrase you "The cherry on the top" was this post! having such support and words from you is beyond my dreams on this hobby! All i can say is that you have been such an inspiration through my hole modelling career and one of the nicest persons i´ve had the opportunity to know (although not in person). I am delighted to have you as a friend as well! Thanks a lot Bob!
best regards from Brazil!

Steve --- There is both full-sized and tiled plans available on the website.  I downloaded the full-sized plan onto a memory stick and took it to my local blueprint supply house.  Full size it measures 51"x37".  Most large printers can only print onto 36" wide paper, so make sure they don't reduce the image to fit their paper (you'll get a smaller airplane than intended!)  Have them print full size onto 36" paper and go ahead and lose some of the margin.
