I think I heard that someone in Canada has Windy's Novonta. I'm looking for contact info.
Thanks

Paul,
Was it Len Bourel? Might be able to get in touch with him through the Balsa Beavers website.
John

I think that's him. Thanks John.

I believe the story is that Len built a Novanta look-a-like. He did the best he could on it since plans weren't available. When Windy found out, he sold (gave?) him the Novanta.

I asked Len today and yes he has the model.
He was busy winning a 500 lap Goodyear race instead of doing the pattern . The weather has been very hot for this time of year around these parts . It makes me think dropping the 100 mile race was a good idea .

Thanks Brad
I sent him an email to the address listed here.
Can you ask him to hit me up?
Thanks

Paul,
If you don't hear from him for a while he was working on moving after the contest . He has been difficult to reach for a while . Moving sucks.
We live about 4 hours apart - I'm much closer to Detroit than Toronto. I mentioned the post to him so he knows about the interest concerning the model .

Here is Len's plane at the 2018 Brodaks contest. You can see the resemblance to the Novanta which Len was striving for. As I recall, he didn't have the Novanta plans when he built this.

2018?

It should be mandatory that Len's boots be included whenever his planes are pictured.

OOps! 2016.
2018 was like I was having a premonition or something!
Did you ever find the templates for the Tribute?
