Two out of four angles on the site show the (yellow) plane flying clockwise.  Is there more than one pilot in the area who flies the old way, as George A. kept on doing right up to the end?  The odds are against both shots having been of inverted segments for a "modern" counterclockwise pilot.

WEll, it could be flying inverted. But if upright, it's almost certainly Wrong Way Leo Mehl.

WOW I did not even notice the plane was going the wrong way.

If my memory servers me, it looks like it could be his Ruffy? Maybe?

Donny,

Yea, Delta Park is an interesting place to fly. Especially with a north or nort west wind. Can you say washing machine? But it's better than the alternative.

I agree, it's probably Leo, but don't forget that Roy DeCamera also flies bassackwards. We don't see him much, but I know he's been having health problems. Out of sight, out of mind. Roy builds and finishes superbly. I'll never f'get his "Go Devil"...interesting color choices, but they work very well. Who'da thunk?   H^^ Steve
