Title: Where to post

I always try and open threads in the appropriate forum.  However, when I ask a question in one of the technical forums it may be several days before I get any response.  If I post the same question in open forum it gets responses almost immediately.  What am I doing wrong?

Looks like a lot of folks don't visit the techie forums. If the chief moderator wants to move it, "don't worry, be happy"...  LL~ Steve
