Keep on sanding Shug, patience pays in the finish.  ;D

Shug, have you ever flown a Tutor before? I never had until February when I brought an old one home from Watt's shop. To look at it, I didn't expect anything extraordinary, but it proved to be quite a good stunter. It turns nice tight corners and locks into its groove like it's on rails. I hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

I have sanded more than I ever have. Primer on and off twice. Silver on small parts on and off once. Seacond coat drying. Some stuff to look at. Feels so smooth and shiny. Next to glue wing in....fillets. Then silver again and off.
I am enjoying it but amazed at the hours spent. No rushing this thing.

I never have but have always liked it's design. Enjoying working on sanding and getting ready for more silver then colors. May even buff it. Been watching Windy's tapes and am sort of channeling him:::::
I am being realistic in the finish but it for sure will be nice with all the sanding I've done. And still doing!

Looks like we may have to come up with nick names for you rustys.   When I was working at one central office there four of us named John.  I became DOC Holliday while the others became, John E., John and Johnathon. LL~ LL~

Yeah, I've been in several situations where there were three or more Rustys at work and in my circle of bar and billiard friends. We bar guys assigned R1, R2, and R3 depending on age. I was R1, the youngest. My CL club calls me Rusty Nail. A couple of them were talking about me trying to remember my last name(Knowlton). They decided they knew it started with an "N" and one of them suggested Nail and it stuck. They should've realized it could have been Knail, Lol. I still haven't lived it down, but it's made for some good jokes. I was also awarded a big rusted rail spike which is on my trophy shelf.

The nickname "Rusty" usually goes to redheads. My parents were expecting one of those since it runs in the family, but I came out with dark brown. My real name is Benjamin, but I think "Rusty" fits me better. The Cyrillic words on the nose of my Yak-9 says "Russ the Nailer," even with a backward "R." Avaiojet Charles calls me Rattlecan Rusty.

What happened to Shug?  It is past time for a new video of some sort, be it flying, acting or mountain climbing.

Somebody, please call him and ask him to come back.  It is getting boring w/o him here.   Z@@ZZZ
