So far myself, and Steve Adams are the only ones to have begun the online build project. I thought there was about 8 of us? ??? Has everyone else lost intrest? Its not to late to get going. Since I am slow at building, and I only have the fues parts cut, you guys can catch up easy.
I remember 2 with kits wanted to follow along, and more that asked for plans.
See ya at the field

Hi Guys,
I'm right hear! Well, I thought Sparky kinda put us off for a while because of Stunt News dead lines. No problems I got the Vector wing jigged up and I am a gluing her up. Should be finished with the wing tommorow and test fit into the fuse.

I'm here. Just watching also.
I'm not sure how an on-line class works so I'll watch this one.
Will another be offered in the future?
I missed what is required. Is there a fee? How do you enroll?
I now I'm a bit late on the questions, but I can't be the only one wondering.

I am also still waiting on the last of the parts to arrive and also trying to finish up a few things.The delay worked in my favor so far. ;)

Harleyman
The on-line build has no fee, just needed to let Randy Smith which plane you were going to build, gather your parts and wait for Robert to lead way. The delay help me because I was waiting on Carbon Mat from Randy and horns to come.
-
Frank;
In your reply number 3 you had a photo with the caption two nacelles. What airplane are you building that needs two nacelles?
Leroy

leroy,
it's an RSM kit of bob whitely's L.A. Heat. a twin engine stunter.
-
Frank;
When is that beast going to be ready to fly? It would be real cool to make it a twin electric! You know all of what you will need. A larger battery and an ESC that can handle the increased current, or just use two of the ESC you already have and hook them up in parallel. You would still only need one timer. Even better would be to install a servo driver. I could make you up a set of insulated lines. Then you could do touch and goes. 8)

Leroy, dont get him going!! Frank is out of control enough already ;D . A twin electric? it will never happen!! ;)
-
WRONG ANSWER GREG---i had to smite you on that one.
there will be a big twin electric stunter. I seriously like the way Leroy is thinking here. First we'll wait and see what this one does.
Do you guys think I could join the online build with the twin?
-
:o hahaha, Frank, I knew I would your attention with that wisecrack. ;D
Yea, it will happen and you are crazy enough to do it. I bet you have one ready by the winter this year.
did you fly today, it was awesome out

Frank;
One of the members of our club is working on a Wing MFG A26 that is going to be electric. It probably will not be able to stunt though with a full load of bombs, retractable landing gear, working bomb bay doors, etc ...Not to mention a non cored foam wing. Wing does offer a p38 kit. I could ask them to give me a fully symmetrical wing and core it for me. Hmmm
-
leroy,
that bomber is quite a project. lots of functions.
-
Yea it is going to look good to. Only problem is it is not going to be ready for our scale contest, or the NATs this year. To many honey dooos got in the way. :(
Leroy
-
Leroy, those freakin' honey doos put all of the important stuff behind.
-
To bad someone didn't come up with a honey DO service. So we could just have someone else take care of them! But that would probably cost to much. :'(
