Are you saying that Leo downloads at 300 baud?

Leo is the most energetic guy I know. Amazing, really.
And Leo, if you got the pictures from Howard, don't worry, they are probably out of focus anyway.
-
My nats report is faling. It is taking some time for the scores to show. Teething problems with the new program are being sorted out. The new system is fair.I wil post pictures when available.

Just to get things strait before Howard gets into this post, I think the Glich is on Howards end but I am sure this will be disputed somewhere down the line. ~~> ~~> ~~> ~~>

I just want to see a picture of Howard's new ImpAct. Anybody? Post it or email it to me, and I'll resize and compress and all that jazz, and post it. Somebody pick up that camera and holler for the JCT! LL~ Steve

Patrick Rowan emailed me a pic of Howard's Impact at Appearance Judging. It's posted in Sparkster's post at the top of the page. It's different... ??? Steve

Hey Billy Boy(alias Mr. Excuses) how come everybody at the NATS do not admit to knowing you? The same people respond to Leo's name with all kinds of good comments. You may have to reintroduce your self to the Parker's, Howard Rush and a few others. Anyway, Gene Martine is doing a CD of all the NATS. Contact him as he is in the members list. Mine is paid for already. DOC Holliday
Since I am the only "Bill" in this post, I guess it's safe to say you are referring to me. That's an easy one to answer "Doc" --- It's probably because they don't know me and I don't know them, just when did I ever say I did? So it looks like I don't have to reintroduce myself to anyone. I know Leo from this and another Forum and we have become good friends. We bust each others chops all the time. I have stated before on ocassion that I am not a competition flyer, I have been to two contests in my entire 62 years on the planet. I never tried to say otherwise. I hope to meet some of these people you have spoken to some day, but alas it is only a dream.
As for the alias "Mr Excuses", I sent you a PM. You have a nice day. I hope I have explained this to your satisfaction.

Mr. Gruby here again is my personal apology. As I found I could do it have removed my post. Maybe I will think a little more about comments I make. I only hope you will forgive me. DOC Holliday
Now those not involved don't ask questions and I will tell no lies as this is between myself and Mr. Gruby. jeh

I knew it was a total miss understanding.
It is so hard at times to sometimes to joke around on the interweb using a keyboard. HB~>

Paul, Here are a few pictures for you. They are of the planes in the top 6 for the OPEN finals flyoff and the final scoreboard.

Paul,
Here are a few more pictures for you. They are some of the classic and advanced airplanes. The last picture was taken early in the morning about 6:30 AM with Crist Rigotti putting in a practice flight on the L pad with the sun/clouds creating a beautiful background.

Dennis,
That last picture should be on a calendar!! Great shot!

I agree with Will!

That plane looks like ground round?
-
Will,
I think I may use that last picture for the background picture on my computer screen. It kind of captures part of the spirit and joy of the hobby I enjoy so much - control line flying.

Dennis,
Please email me the picture at full resolution. I want it for my wallpaper too!
Thanks.
Sparky,
You mean like this?
-
Oh man! What a shame! :-\
Crist, what's the story behind the topside customizing?
-
Ran out of altitude in the Outside Squares on my first offical.
-
Must have been nerves, because I've seen you fly, and you're good.
-
Thanks. It might have been. I was trying to fly very smooth and just didn't put in enough down. Broken prop, shaved down fuselage and fin. I put clear packing tape over the injured areas, changed props and did some test flights, then flew it that way for the rest of the NATS. Glad appearance judging was first. BTW is netted 17 points.
-
Dennis.
As I also said on the other forum... Spectacular photo.
Please include me for a full def copy. I will also use it on my computer screen.
Also can I use it on my web site?
-
Crist, maybe you had grits on your mind or is it mush. LL~ LL~ LL~

Fried mush, well done, a side of bacon, crisp!

Greetings,
Thank you all for your kind responses to the picture. Everyone is welcome to use it for any non-commercial use. Steve Helmick has generously offered to post it on the NW Skyraider's website, and make it down loadable in several sizes so that it can be easily shared with others (this will save me from emailing it out individually). Steve also offered to post a link to the picture on both forums. I have sent Steve both the original picture and the cropped version of the original that was posted on the forum. Enjoy.

I knew who this was immediately, George Jetson and the ground round hamburger.
