Bi-Slob at the VR/CS

 I allways attend the VR/CS ( vintage r/c society) in Julian NC each year, but this year i took along some C/L models that are welcome there also. Well the hit of the event was my Bi-slob. Not because of my flying, but letting others re-live C/L flying that had not done so in many years, by letting them fly it. Everyone that flew it swears they will have a C/L model to fly at next years event. I had more fun watching other 50+yr old guys re-live their childhood with a C/L model than i did flying my vintage R/C stuff! I think everyone there told a C/L story from their youth. I cant remember ever meeting so many new people at an event over a single model before! And the Bi-Slob left the event intact.....more than i can say for some of my vintage R/C stuff

Great story Gene. I have a couple of them and they are a hoot to fly. Sounds like you had a lot of fun with yours.

Our club has a fun day scheduled soon with a local friendly R/C club. I'm definitely going to bring my Bislob along and let others fly it. I have another Bislob still in the box, which I won at the Fargo contest last year. Everyone needs one of these.
