Looks good Sparky .... when do you have time to sleep .... you accomplish alot .... maybe its the time saved from not shaving.

How are you putting the two halves together?
For larger parts you might want to use a splitter plate, and make both sides from the total plug.  This will allow you to get perfect alligment of the two sides before taking the parts out of the molds.

Absolutely NOT! There is no Sparky without the rough beard! Imagine if ZZ top guys decided to shave. they would stop being ZZ top!

Great job Sparky!

Now if we can get you to do this on your next speed build! How cool would that be?

One of the BEST how to videos EVER!!!!

I have been wanting to mold up some wheel pants, but now I'm thinking , why bother, just buy em from Sparky.
Those are some very sexy wheel pants, and they would be perfect for my Checkmate series.
I want a couple of sets.
Good job Mr Storick I'll be contacting you for a couple of pairs.

I have a feeling I'm not the only one jazzed by your pants and you will probably be flooded with orders. This is going to cut down on the time you can build you own awesome planes.

Thanks for the time and effort.

Woot cam was a DUD! I do have a JVC Video camera with a 20 gig hard drive in it. So I will be setting that up and I do have a tripod for it. It is too bad it died because I had a video of the park where we fly. But alas its dead as a door nail.  Gear Pro 720p HD Sport Action Cam is Total JUNK!
By the way ARMIT's are back in stock

Now for the review on my Earthquake IG800W Generator. I used it today to charge my batteries at the field. Quiet running and worked flawlessly. I would say its almost Honda Quality for way less money .

you can save a LOT of weight by doing a wet layup  - relying on breather cloth to soak up resin is not the best way to go.

The idea of the breather is not to be a sponge, but to allow the air to be drawn out of the bag to a level that will create the required compression

with the wet layup method, you will only be doubling the weight of your cloth pieces - which I am sure is a lot less than 7grams
