Title: Whats the weather like there?
Post by: GERALD WIMMER on August 26, 2021, 05:48:48 PM
Hi Thought this was interesting as control line fliers are normally interested in the weather especially before the weekend or a big contest.
Extreme global weather for Friday Aug 27:

Philip Duncan's WeatherWatch in New Zealand normally produces a daily weather video for us here in NZ but his global weather video may interest others and runs some interesting graphics

It's broken clouds, some sun, about 60 deg. F with 20% chance of showers this evening. Humidity about 80%, I think it said on the TV. I'm comfy, but got a bit sweaty working outside most of the late morning/early afternoon. I lived, tho.  H^^ Steve

Best weather info for the lower 48 is Aviation Weather.

 http://www.usairnet.com/cgi-bin/launch/code.cgi?Submit=Go&sta=KHSV&state=AL

Gives 3-4 day's worth temp and wind speed & direction on an hour to hour bases.  The above link is for Huntsville but you can change it to your local forecast.   H^^
