My In-betwixter
« on: March 12, 2009, 07:18:48 PM »
Did this betwixt sorting out big building issues. While stuck trying to decide how I wanted to proceed on the Gladiator refinish, I grabbed my Lil Jumpin' Bean plans and patterns and knocked this out. I'd bought a Brodak .061 for kicks, but now its got a home. I have to wrap the leadouts and finish the tirm, but its essentially ready to fly.

Oh yeah!! Its finished with Monkote and red Rustoleum I took from a rattle can and sprayed with my airbrush.

Pretty neat Randy; I built about 4 or 5 1/2 A jobs a few years ago for my grandkids. Kind of a fun change of pace.

Looks good Randy!!! That looks like a lot of power.

I had a Jumping Bean and boy did it jump around. I did not know nothing about trim or CG.

My first impression without reading was "nice shoestring" It wasn't till I read it that I realized that was an .049 on it. I want to know how it flies.
BY the way, why do shoestrings always seem to have that color pattern ?

That looks great and brings back memories as I had one years ago when they first came out.  I now have a Brodak Baby Flite Streak waiting for a fuel tank that has Brodak .049 on it.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday
