The engine is a Rotec Radial R2800 7 cylinder of 110 hp. It is made in Australia. The 2 brothers that manufacture the engine are fantastic model airplane builders, (serious) that is how they started. Their business is booming. Their R3600 150hp 9 cyclinder radial is also doing quite well. The engines are of phenominal quality and reliability. Their father runs the day to day business end, and the two brothers concentrate on the engineering and manufacturing.

I have been a "HOG" fan for as long as I can remember, and this is the most AWESOME thing I have ever seen. Somebody tell me that it is "Kick Start" If there are any more pictures available could you please post them I would like to see the other side? Or if there is a link to this Bear could you post it please.

I like the air cooling effect on this one better but both are truly wonderful works of craftsmanship.
There are early examples as well of radial engines on two-wheelers. One that comes to mind was incorperated as the hub of one wheel! I wonder how the gyro-yaw effect felt?
