What to do with engines that are OOS
« on: December 07, 2007, 05:27:54 PM »
I got these display boxes at Hobby Lobby unfinished for $2.99 each. I stained them with cherry stain, and finished them with tung oil. Pretty neat for you unused engines that are just laying around and do not have a plane for just yet. Since 5 sides are glass, I made a slide in floor of 3/32" ply with a mount for the engines.

What a cool idea.  I've seen boxes like that at the local artsy stores.
I think I'll do that for a couple of my older engines.

Thanks for posting this Jim.    H^^
