I just opened the box for the first time and guess what there are no plans. The wing is very basic construction with a notched leading edge so no plans are needed for the wing, and the box top shows a three step process to assemble the fuselage. Berkely was obviously trying to save money. More to your question regarding the engine, the wing spans 42 inches without tips and the cord is about 8 inches. So it's about 320 square inches, I am starting to think a .19 diesel might not be enough. I built a Wee Duper Zilch a couple years back for VSC, it called for a .29. I used a .35 ignition and it flew OK, the wing was just too small for the weight of the plane. I may go to a .35 on the Lil Duper Zilch, although I do have a PAW .29 diesel as well. I would think a .29 diesel would be enough. Electric would be so much better, but even I have to admit it would be so wrong. Looking at the wood, I will definitely use the parts for stencils and make a new kit from my wood. I think it should make a decent OTS plane.
