Title: What plane was that?
Post by: Bud Morrison on June 13, 2014, 11:10:13 AM
When I was at Brodak doing video I saw a profile plane flying in another circle while I was videoing that looked like it didn't have a vertical stab at all. The top and bottom of the rear of the fuse looked to be symmetrical. I didn't have time to hunt down the plane and pilot when I was done videoing. Anyone have any idea of what plane that would be ? Haven’t found anything searching the net yet.

Look familiar?

I very much doubt you saw a copy of this particular airplane, but the fuselage side-view is lifted from Bob Hunt's Genesis.  While I know of no Genesis profiles, a profile from a full-fuse plane is a pretty easy plans-bash.

Nope this one was more square at the back. Didn't have a slant.

It looked sort of like a Doodlebug but more refined for precision stunt.

It looked sort of like this but the plane I saw was yellow.
