This ARF mirrors my Brodak kit for the Flite Streak, which as a profile was NOT a 46" span model. My plans for the original profile FS say 42" span.

Seems to be a communication glitch here. The TF Peacemaker kit with super form fuselage was 46"ws. It had 2 molded fuselage halves that glued to the structure. The rest was built like any other kit. That was 50ish yrs ago. The outerzone full fuse plan is 46"ws and built as normal...then there are the smaller profile ones.

Yes. Mine was the small profile Peacemaker published in UK.  I thought Bob was originally referring to the Flite Streak, but not so. Peacemaker history is a bit more complicated. - SK

When I was a kid, I always wanted to buy that Top Flite Form Flite Peacemaker kit. I'd built n their nice little Form Flite 1/2A P-47 Thunderbolt, and my older Brother built the little 1/2A F6F Hellcat and Japanese Zero kits in that same series. They were lots of fun, both to build and fly and they really flew great <=. By the time I was older and could afford the Form Flite Peacemaker kit, they were discontinued :o. However, in more recent times, I have scratch built a George Aldrich full fuselage Peacemaker from the original M.A.N. plans, April 1960 issue. Extended the nose moment one inch for Glow, per the plan note. Added lightening holes to the tips like the ones seen on the Top Flite Peacemaker kit Plan, which an American friend got for me from the AMA. Building buddy Dennis suggested making the wing ribs from 3/32 vs. 1/16TH balsa for a better covering job. I agreed.  I did remember y1 to slot the spar for 3/32 ribs when I made it. At some point during my build, UK based Belair came out with a Peacemaker kit and I bought their nice Peacemaker canopy and Brodak also came out with a Peacemaker kit. The scratch building time and efforts have been very rewarding though. I finally got around to beginning the silkspan covering, starting with the stab/elevator, vertical fin and the wing tips. Main wing panels next. Intended power is an older O.S. Max-S .25.Happy to see interest in this classic design. Have FUN!
