I would prefer a tongue type muffler on any fp or la 40 or 46.

Looks like the Tower 46/GMS 47 muffler  They supposedly work very well on those engines as well as the OS 46 FX - but the hole spacing is different than the LA40/46.  I think this is a pretty heavy (by CLPA standards) muffler.

might also be a PMP tuned muffler.  Henry Nelson makes them.  Great for hi revving engines.  The right muffler on the right engine is worth 1000 rpm or more.

Sure loolks like a Tower 46 muffler.  BTW it will bolt right on the ST G51, eliminating a lot of plumbing. That muffler is the only good thing about a Tower 46.  Glen

Looks very like one I got from Tower. It looked easy to alter the length of the centre section to vary the volume, and was advertised as suitable for Thunder Tiger 40-46. I assumed it would therefore be o.k. for a TT GP42. Wrong. Hole centres completely different.
