So, who is attending the Northwest Regionals. Weather looks to be iffy, but it always does.

Randy,
Was looking at Weather Underground and their forecast is for pretty nice weather on tbe weekend with temps in the mid to high 70's and wind around 6-8 mph both days. I am heading down on Thursday as I am judging OT  on Friday.  See you there.

Hmm, my weather app says decent weather on Friday and Saturday. Partly cloudy with temps in low 70s and rain on Sunday. But then, it's changed a couple of times over the past few days.

In all the years I've gone to this contest, I only remember getting completely rained out once. Should be fine.

It's not wise to make plans around the weather forecast in these parts, you won't do much!  We'll be there Thursday as well, I also will judge old time.

I'm hoping to make it for the first time. Now I just need my engine to cooperate with me.

The forecast looks OK to me, not a lot different from here.

I'll be attending this year for the first time.  Just a gawker, but I'll be asking lots of questions and making a pest of myself.

Now that I know who’s judging OT.... sure I’ be there. It’s going to be fun (or funny if I’m flying).

Tom,
Just because you've offered to meet up on my trip down, don't think you'll be getting any bonus points on Friday.  Now iunderstand Haverly can be bought.  Also the offer of some golden elixer will have no affect on me as I am temporarily on the wagon due to some meds I'm taking.
I' call youu when I get close to Portland, weather permitting.

I'm going, but I'm woefully underprepared.  I had planned on flying in classic with a restored plane, but it's not done, nor is the scale plane I started building when my shoulder was whacked out.

Oh well.  I'll be there, none the less.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Yes, but Mike doesn't come with a favorable exchange rate. I try to never pay retail, it's corruption at a bargain for me.

Because you were working on TUTs, one hopes. Speaking of TUTs, I accidentally tested the Igor-fail reversion mode when I forgot to plug in the Igor timer after making a gain change. Worked a treat.
