What it looks like to sit in the BIG Chair.
« on: February 01, 2007, 01:17:05 PM »
Stunt Hangar is getting ready for the road. This is the big chair. The laptop I built yesterday 2.2 duo,160 gig,wifyi,2gig of ram should be able to take Stunt Hangar on the road. This year I am bringing mobile picture printing and a host of other toys. So if you see me at a contest I will be able to take photos and upload them from the web right on the spot. The Enclosed trailer I am working on will have a generator so I can power all this mobile stuff.

Robert,

Will you have web access from your trailer?  If so what are the particulars of how it's done, access speed etc.

Yes I will have access as long as I have a cell connection. It is an internal card that is provided by the Cingular cell phone service. Of coarse at the NATS I will be on a LAN.

Here's the chair you need.  This is the son of a friend of mine.  He's a captain in the US Army in Iraq.  He is sitting in Saddam's chair.  Isn't that a cool mural?

Gla you are doing something besides looking at bird nests. Does this mean if I want to get in touch with Bob all I have to do is contact you. Nice looking set up. Is this sort of a bedroom on wheels with hot running computer. Merry winter

In my opinion, it would have been more accurate (and thus cooler!) to have the missles pointing the other direction, i.e., downward.  LL~ Steve

PS: Robert...is that trailer to be pulled behind your Harley, or the Cadillac?

Are you using an inverter for your equipment?
A generator accurate enough to use with a computer can be had , but are rather expensive.
Most of the tool truck folks use an inverter.
I repaired a 2500 Watt gen suitable for this use and the power module was 600.00 dollars ,our cost! S?P

All you need to do is run the power thru a UPS to clean up the power.
