What is this plane?

It's at least 20 years old; I forgot to measure the span but it's "full sized" -- 600-700 square inches.

While "600 > 700" is a big difference, it looks rather like a SIG Magnum, except for the built-up wing...which could be the stock foam wing with capstrips. Did it use a ST G.51? Good engine for a Magnum. It might also be the Tom Dixon/Randy Smith derivative, the "Magnum Plus"...thicker wing, deeper rear fuselage....a very good flying design, also with a G.51.  Steve

It used something with slightly wider lug spacing than an ST60.  John Leidle thinks it was a Merco 61.
