If it is the November issue, it is the Legacy 40, a Brodak kit.

Thanks Allen. I was kind of thinking Legacy but I thought the wing looked like it had too much taper. The canopy threw me a little too.

Hmm, I've got a NIB Legacy .40 short kit, maybe I should get to building it... ;D

Yes Allen, the blue, and white one.  What threw me off was the apparent thin wing,  and sharp leading edge.  I guess pictures can be deceiving.  I should have known better, as I have the kit too, and it is in que to be built shortly.

The plans show more flap than elevator, is this correct?  Or, should I swap the elevator,  with the bellcrank pushrod on the flap linkage which would give it 1 to 1?

Sharp leading edge is due to builder's choice and the thin wing is a camera perspective.  If you look at the plans, I believe you will find a very modern airfoil.  I am tempted to build one with landing gear in the wing and a piped .40 PA for power.  This is a 565 square inch wing and Jim Aaron had a 575 wing with a PA .65 in it.  I think it would be an excellent PAMPA bird of prey.

I was wrong on both the areas of the wings and corrected that.  Thanks Steve, old timer's disease is setting in quick.

Sounds like a winner to me.
