What is missing from this site???
« on: January 19, 2010, 07:36:27 PM »
As good as this site is there is always something that can be done to make it better.

We need section of just links.

Links to vendors sites would be good. There is a section for vendors but there links are not there in most of them.

Also links to other sites of interest. PAMPA, AMA, SSW, ect.

Links to club sites as well.

Yes, I haven't figured out that one yet either. Actually the vendor should put up a sticky with the link at the top. That they could do right now I think,

Yes Alan that would help for now, but I still think other links need to be listed as well.

Well I just went to SSW and saw the same issue. On the forum, there is really no easy place to find links.

However if you click on SSW itself (not the forum), you can find links to AMA and PAMPA.

So I came back here and did the same thing---I clicked on http://stunthanger.com/ ----the big banner up on the upper left corner of the site when you come in---  and saw the same links to AMA and PAMPA ... (not sure I saw other links).

So they are actually there, but most of us forget the base link that the forums live in.

But I agree, since most of us live here in the forums, it would be useful to have these links more "obvious".

I agree Brett, if it's not on Phil's site, you probably don't need it.

I forgot about phil's site.

For those of use that live and build off of this site it would be good to have a links section.

How about a push pin map that shows where forum members are and another for clubs? Yes, possibly one for vendors.

We have tried the push pin map and it did not play well. It had to go. It was a great idea.

And Thanks Robert for pointing out the the tabs at the top of the page. Duh!

Are right folks, lets get the committee out to count the links on each site and see who the winner is.  Of course the loser will demand a recount.  LL~ LL~  Going to Vicstunt recently I found stuff that I hadn't seen before.  The wife says I spend too much time on the computor forums.   But it does get me away from building. Hi guys,

If you click on StuntHanger at the top several different links show up, AMA, pampa, club links, building tips. I just don't see how it could get any better????? Maybe I'm just not seeing the whole picture, Robert has more listed than I'll ever use???? Great job StuntHanger, Gary
