Title: What I like about this site
Post by: Shawn Kuntz on December 05, 2006, 10:26:39 PM
Do you guys know what I like most about this site?  Members from all skill levels seem to bend over backwards to help a fellow modeler out.  I think this is the #1 site  for control line on the web.  Thanks!

Shawn I couldn't agree more I have seen some pretty basic questions ask by newcomers and  newcomers like me  that are back after many years away. I do not recall ever seeing a reply that was not respectful even if the reply was from one of those who have forgotten  way more than some of us will ever know.

Thanks GENTLEMEN.

When I was a kid I use to ask Bill Noyes and Tom Warden all sorts of questions ,why you doing that? How long is that? why is that? How come you do it that way? How do you do this or how do you do that? Now remember this is when everything was a secrete! But I would get an answer anyway. Copy what works and once mastered you can work on improvement.

There will not be any belittling comments allowed on this forum about an honest question! The only stupid question is the one you don't ask!

Have to agree with with everone on this post. Look over on SSW and what happened to me for asking a legitimate question about RO JETT engines. That made twice, the first time and the last.

Sparky,

I like this site very much.  I see allot of people I know posting and some I have never met that I feel I know.  It is allot of fun and reminds me of sitting in the shade at a contest listening to and telling B.S. stories.

Thanks

I'm 54 years old and i swear some of the names here were known when I was a kid. That's a lot of experience and a wealth of info. Can't get much better than that.

I enjoy the fact that we have every type of enthusiast from a World Champion to raw beginners, from NATS Champs to retreads, and all levels in between.  AND we all share.

It's great!
