Title: What engine in Gray Lutz' Stuntress
Post by: Keith Renecle on April 04, 2024, 01:17:40 AM
Hi All,

I found this video of Gary Lutz flying his Stuntress

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTQbUkjpmuY&t=359s

I was immediately struck by the sound of his engine with such a great 2/4 break. Does anyone know what engine was in his Stuntress? I'm guessing ST.60 but of course I could be wrong. Thanks.

Regards,
Keith R

Hi, Keith.
I'm pretty sure it was an ST 60.
Not sure if it was stock or modified.

Hi Bob, thanks for that. It sure sounds like the ST 60. So nice to hear and Gary flies a neat pattern too with that pretty stunter.

Gary also likes to fly big bore ROJett engines.  Would not be surprised if he had not put one of those in that airplane.
