What do you think of my new Rudder???
« on: February 16, 2009, 11:11:32 AM »
Building a fuse out of what I have laying around.

Got this rudder from a real good friend. I needed a rudder and it needed a new home.

I guess it helps if I show you the picture..

The rudder is not glued in just yet... still have some clean up to do.

Wynn,
The wing I have was too big for the Pizzazz. I am using the same type of fuse as you use.

I am going to cut a wing for the Pizzazz once I get the templates made. Looks like a easy wing. Stay tuned.

Paul,
I'm not familiar with the model that you are building.I like the construction method that you are using on the fuselage.

Wow!  That rudder brings back visions of terror and terrible fright.  Last time I saw that rudder was looking over my shoulder as I was running away from an exploding Mr. Hyde.

Yup Joe gave me the tail section after Mr. Hyde came apart. It was a good way for me to see how things are built. The rudder is built up. Might not even paint it.

I figure the tail knows all the moves and can maybe train the rest of the plane. LL~

Where's the rest?  Are any other parts being reused?  This kinda reminds me of some mad scientist kinda thing.

Hey Willie,
No the tail was all I got. Joe took the rest of it. I think it had some good stuff to recycle.
You know, bell crank, wheels and maybe that heavy thing on the front with the three blades on it. LL~
