Nothing, other than the five inches of fresh snow in the driveway.
-
A Walt Umland Spitfire kit!
-
Well I got a new record, CD and tape player/recorder. Santa didn't ask me and I didn't tell him how good I was as I didn't want to lie to him.
-
I thought I was too old for toys but Santa brought me this. It seems I'm not too old after all :).

A pleasant afternoon with modeling friends, and a delicious meal courtesy of Keith and Barbara Trostle.
Experiencing an on again/off again heating issue here at the apartment - which is nothing compared with folks in the Northeast who have no power at all.
All things considered, a very nice Christmas.
-
An Eagletree so I'll be able to find out from time to time just what all those electrons are doing. And a wonderful day with the children and grandchildren. The third annual Hoover Christmas Air Hockey Tournament is in the books and it's been a different winner each year. Next year the second youngest grandchild will be ready to compete.
Christmas blessings, everyone.

I thought I'd been a good boy to get a Saito 40, but Brian must've been very good indeed. What is it Brian, a Westfield, or what?
-
Pretty cool, Brian. "Down" there, the weather must be just about right for it.
-
A pleasant visit with a bunch of relatives at our house and a pan of suman from my sister-in-law.

After an earlier disaster during the year SH^ Santa called a week before Christmas and gave me the key to my new workshop!! Now to try and get organised again. At least the 40 deg C days will be pleasant as they replaced my old window/wall A/C with a 3 hp split system #^ Wife says a bar and bed would complete the scene. LL~

What is it Brian, a Westfield, or what?
Yep Steve, a Westfield SE. Only done a bit over 9000Kms including a full recondition and balancing of the Toyota 1.6 twin cam as the car was being built. Car came from WA so I'm currently going through the usual hassles of getting it registered in SA but I'll get there sooner or later :).

Now, do you hang the planes from the roll bar while going to the field? Of course I think it would be great to have one of those cars for the wife and I to cruise around town in. I remember my adopted parents driving their Corvette with planes anchored to deck lid in back. I still miss George and Dorothy Watkins as they made sure I stayed out of trouble when Mother wasn't around. H^^

Got a few more items for the electronics bay of my new stunter. I now have almost everything that I will need.
Linda and I had have had several health issues. She will have neck surgery New Years Eve day. I have skin grafts coming next month.
Like most doctors mine is off this week but I have either the flu or pneumonia. so will have that checked this after noon. I will be glad when 2013 is over.
I am trying to get out some items that I owe to people. I don't have the ambition to walk across the room much less make any progress on my personal projects.

Tom,
Better get to the ER if you think it might be serious.
-
Tom, what Andrew said. We want you around a while yet.

First off, my wife and I have the great fortune of good health and pretty good financial security .(we should be able to afford a double wide cardboard box when needed).
Next we had Christmas eve dinner with the kids and their kids. Great fun, great food. Then for Christmas day we went to my brother's for dinner and a stay over for a Cinnamon roll ( home made, of course) breakfast.
On the gift front, I got a set o binocular loupes like the dentists use. No more crick in the neck when doing close work. 3.5x manification at 420 mm distance, and quite comfortable. Available through Amazon for $80ish. I love having the right tools!! #^

Got an HP Quadracopter that has a movie camera in it. I can hardly wait to try to take movies of my flying buddy flying his Cardinal from an upper angle, that is when I figure out how to fly this thing.

Sorry you didn't get anything, Wayne. Here's a useful tip for you! I would only add that Cabela's has electric socks in their Fall/Hunting catalog. y1 Steve
Edit: I got some more warm clothes, some beer, some Angry Orchard apple/ginger ale (5% vitamin A), a "ball cap" from "Champion Arms", and a DVD of the three Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns. Son Daniel figured out how to get my new modem and wireless router to work, and got me back online. I wasn't good, either.

I got the best gift of any of you guys. I got to spend time just sitting and talking with my Grandson Logan who was home on leave from the Marine Corps! Another GREAT AMERICAN who really humbles me with his dedication, skill and faith in this Country of ours.

Yes, that has to be the best present for Christmas. Hope you tell him how proud we are of him and all the others that serve.

Today, the 29th, my daughter Kelsey and her fiance (Bob) brought by my new granddaughter, "Sister". She's a rescue dog, half Jack Russell and half English Bull Terrier. I think she said the pup was 3 months old. Cute little bugger. Wife won't get near her, so when she's here, she's all mine! There is some thought of a name change, but I think "Sister" is ok. Their elderly (and diabetic) cat ("Nacho Vegas") is dealing with the new sibling fairly well. (051) Steve

Ah, another pet to keep you in line. LL~ LL~ Remember some time ago I stated the wife got another tea cup Chihuahua. She is the daughter of our tea cup Chihuahua, Teddy, who thinks he is boss of the house. Now when all the females are gone, the wife and daughter, I have a total of 5 mutts in my lap. I still only let 3 of them in the shop though. Will post a picture of Teddy after I get the pictures down loaded again.

I got a plane ride from PDX home to Orlando on Christmas day after a grueling 3 wk 6 tool set modification marathon, then a 7 hr nap on Thursday.
Had Christmas on Sat, and got my new AMA card, some nice work pants with integral knee pads, and my daughter got the front sight on my Colt Gold Cup replaced, and gave me a couple hundred rounds of ammo... Daddy's Little Girl knows me pretty good!
