What controls for a SIG Akrobat
« on: January 21, 2010, 08:41:11 PM »
I would like to replace the stock B/C in my Akrobat. I also need a flap control horn.

Doc pointed me here.

Can someone look at the plans for the Akrobat and tell me what BC and control horn to get from this site please.

This is my first full fuse plane and I want to get it right.
Thanks
Paul

If you want to go with a ball link system you can use the BLF-03 for the flaps and the BLE-04 for the elevator. You will need at least 1/2" clearance side to side for the ball link. You may not have that much room for the elevator horn in which case you will want a bushed horn which is a BUE-03. This set up will give you 1 to 1 controls. You can call me at the shop and we can talk about what you need. I am ususlly there after 6:30 pm mst most evenings (but will not be there tomorrow) and usually most of the day on weekends. The number is 505-332-8007.
