What a great day
« on: September 30, 2015, 05:00:15 PM »
Got a text from Dave about a gentleman being in town and wanting to fly.  So I headed to the field and they were there already.  The gentleman was Charles Reeves of Paduka KY.  Jim Lee was also there as well as Dave.  I talked Charles into flying the Hobo.  Jim flew several flight on his cheek cowled Barnstormer.  Dave got some flights on his new ship.  Me I just put up a flight on the Ringmaster Imperial,  then the Hobo.  Finally got a couple of flights on the canard Ringmaster.  I now have witnesses that it will loop, fly inverted and do lazy 8's.  Going to have to add a nose wheel or put landing gear further forward.  Charles asked me if I was having fun, I responded that I was having a blast.  No pics of planes.

Yes it was fun even though the air was turbulent today.  Kevin showed up after work so we had a good group.  I took one shot of Jim Lee flying on the field for the first of many times to come.  I'm sure Charlie will be back soon.  His daughter lives here in my neiborhood and he has grandkids here interested in flying.  I think everyone liked the field.

Thanks for posting this Doc. Charlie is so much fun. You guys are so lucky to have that new field and fly together. Wish I could have been there. One of these days I will make it down for a day or two. My daughter lives in Sugar Creek along with three of my grandsons and another grandson that lives in Liberty.
