Title: What's with the lamp at Brodaks last year?
Post by: Elwyn Aud on April 18, 2010, 11:28:10 PM
Don't know much about the plane, I was just shooting whatever was there. What I'm curious about though is the burning kerosene lamp on the right. I don't even remember noticing it until I was editing photos some time later. I just happened to remember it today and thought maybe somebody might know what it was for. Some sort of tradition maybe?

It was there as a memorial to the WA,DC clubs missing member that had passed away.  I found it to be a fitting symbol.

Thanks Joe. I knew there had to be a good reason.
