I am the last person to know, but it looks like a Nobler?
Great Shot by the way.

I was thinking Nobler or maybe a Nobler knock-off. Who was flying it at Brodaks this year?

Hi Elwyn - It's John D'Ottavio's Falcon. He framed it in 1961, had it around unfinished all those years, gave it away, got it back and finished it. In daily use now, saw it yesterday at the field. A survivor for sure. Tom H.

Hi Elwyn, that plane is one of John D'Ottavio's JD falcons. If I remember right, he said he had framed up and sold it to somebody who never finished it. He got it back and finished it up and had it flying at Brodak. Looks like it flew pretty good also.

Yes, John had it hanging on his wall for years. This one has the canopy further back.
He also has a jet airplane with trike gear and side simulated inlets based on the Falcon. I first saw the airplane at his house in NJ. That airplane has been bare bones collecting dust since the late 60's. I often looked at it for its potential beauty.
I should have asked him if I could finish the airplane while he was still in Texas. It would bring up a potential question: Constructed in the 60's, Completed in the 2000's. Is it or is it not a Classic?? Hmmmmm.
