I'm truly amazed actually that a lot more items don't get lost in the mail. I find it remarkable that you actually receive items on a daily basis and a timely manner. Unfortunately, I just went through a similar experience and the US post office was more than helpful in trying to track the item down. It does though become a process in which you need patience for. In my case the item was a out of date out of production part that was purchased through Ebay . In the event I did purchase the insurance, my money would've been refunded, but I really wanted the part I was in search of. On another note, I made a purchase that for some reason took 2 months to arrive at my doorstep. No one had an explanation for that and the person I bought it from sent me the item twice. I did however send the extras back. Lets just hope this is the case with your item. How does Paypal deal with an item that never arrived? Is there a way to receive a refund and try again? I use Paypal services for purchases frequently. The one complaint I do have is the fact that its an automated service. If you do have a problem its not just a phone call away for resolution. It may take a week to receive an e-mail to get your problem resolved. I think if your needs for that engine is immediate, purchasing another may be the route to take until that issue is fixed. This may also require certain insurances in addition. I generally don't purchase these options. I think of them like warranties. Why should I need them? The reality is that this may have eliminated the problems. I just hope that the engine arrives. Ken
