What's the holdup?
« on: May 24, 2019, 07:31:24 PM »
Stunt Hangar is extra, extra, extra slow today. I ran CCleaner and checked Bass Boat Central. BBC is running fast, but SH still isn't.  :( Steve

I've noticed this off and on for quite some time, and yes, it seems to be only SH. Pretty bad today.  :(

well...it took almost 60 sec. to log in , still very slooooow, like its running on 50 Volts instead of 110 Volts.
Lazycrazy it is now….. HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>
btw spellcheck took 30 sec. to show/hold up.
Well it seems that "Grandfathers Clock" is running to slow...for sure.
Maybe Server staff is gone for fishing   LL~ and nobody takes care about the "Red Alert" lights  mw~.

Stunthangar has been so slow here in the Northeast for the past week it's almost not worth opening. It's called an error on two posts I tried to submit and had to give up. Lets see if this goes through.

I didn't want to be the first to complain when it was slow.  But I see it's back to working great.

Thanks!  The website, and the people, have been a great asset for my efforts to fly stunt and handle sales from a collection.

Not sure if it would help but there are some categories on the forum that have seen zero activity for a long time and could be weeded out with it being no loss. Looking at a lot of the dates of the most "recent" posts the Vendors Corner would be a good place to start.

Wayne aka Warbird,
I understand your comment but respectfully disagree.
Majority of us know what Vendors are noted in the Vendors corner. We may not frequent it as much as some of the others ,BUT, I for one use it as a file of places to go when I want something, ie like a filing cabinet.
I dont want to empty my real, and on line, filing cabinets.  Do others?  Do you?

Respectfully replied,

Just a note here, I've yet to notice any improvement in the forum speed, still very sluggish on my end most all the time.  :(

Viable point Ken but it only seems slow when I'm here on SH, everywhere else seems fine.

Looks great here in Mississippi. The screens pop right up with no delay. I can't wait to see it when I get my fiber connection up and running.

Interesting, I've noticed no unusual slowing at all.
