  BUCKET OF COAL !!!!  ????
HMMM  That ain't bad if you are freezing your buns off and all you got for heat is an old coal burner.  Hee Hee  Hee..
Really, we had a wonderful Christmas and hope everyone else had a great one also.

Added by edit--- I forgot--- I was digging around in the Junk barrel and found a NEVER mounted nor run Brand spanking new  Fox 29X  (original version patterned off the old Silver Head Combat special).  Now that is a good Christmas  present.  Think I shall clean it up and see what I can get out of it on the Bay.

Yes, Mr. Denny, a Bucket of Coal can actually come in handy in those situations!  I no longer have a coal stove, but those were sure nice to back up to and get warm!  (yes, we had one when I was a kid....)  Of course, getting running water indoors, and a water closet to go with it, were nice additions! LL~

God Bless you and yours!

Also non-modeling items....Pirates of the Caribbean "At Worlds End" DVD, shirts, Mini Mag flashlight, blah blah blah.......

Got an Epson V500 Photo Scanner which will let me digitize about 50 years of old pics and slides and put 'em on CD's.  Works great...lets you use color correction to get the original colors back.....stores files as .jpg or other types...comes with Adobe Photo and a $50 rebate.  All thanks to my loving wife.  Sorry no airplanes...got 14 hanging in the shop now.  Gotta hold a sale.

As far as plane related stuff goes, my son got me a really nice Hitachi scroll saw.  That'll make life easier when it comes to cutting model plane parts.

Hope everyone had (and is having) a wonderful Christmas.

A dual core "quad" processor (2.5), 4 1g memory sticks, a new SLI, 1033 front side bus motherboard with a lot of interesting goodies and a nice, new XFX Nvidia 8800GT video card. Should make Tabula Rasa look really good.

No plane stuff, but then, I had already sort of shot the wad with a new spray gun and compressor a couple of weeks ago. Now, if I could just get some weather to paint in.  :)

No Plane stuff here, either, but by far the best was the two CD's my daughter got me - Third Day's self titled album and Jeff Bechk's The Best Of Jeff Beck!  Third day is simply the best Christian Rock band out there and Beck is the maestro of maestro's on the axe!
Blessings,

My Christmas was very good. Wen to Mass with my daughter,son-in-law, granddaughter and wife. Spent the early hours opening the gag gifts that Ginny and I always share, including a package of 200 craft sticks (popcycle).Spent some time purusing the latest CLW magazine that came Monday. What a great issue! The second part of Al Rabes article was fantastic, and so far my other favorite was the biography of Jack Sheeks by his wife.

I think the best was getting to spend time with my son. Seems I don't get to do that very often anymore.

Great CHRISTMAS, as got to see relatives in Florida via the computor.  Also to see all the kids and grand kids who are still in town minus my favorite daughter-in-law who was on call for this week.  But, I guess I was too naughty as Santa left me a pair of mittens that don't fit.  But, really the biggest gift of all is everyone is healthy and made another year,  DOC Holliday

I got the new Live Free or Die Hard movie and Born Ultimatum, a few shirts , pants, slippers and a set of the Havoc Battle Copters. I will get the new parts kit for the Giseike Nobler when it comes in. I kind of wanted to get the new Taurus Judge revolver, it handles both 45 Long Colt and 410 shotgun,
but of course it has not been approved for sale in good old California and I haven't called Taurus to see if they are going to submit it. I still enjoy the 44 Mag I got last year. CAN'T wait to get out of here and moved to Tulsa where an honest, hard working person doesn't have to put up with all the BS among many other things. See you all in Tulsa one of these days.

Hope and pray everybody had a Merry Christmas and will have a healthy, happy, and prosperous new year!!!

I managed to come down with a fever Christmas noon.  Second year in a row I've gotten some bug.  Last year it was on Christmas eve.  Both occasions I missed the wife's grand holiday feast.

Bah, humbug!

I was hoping for a box (or two) of .357 Winchester Silver Tips, but no joy in Mudville. I did get a 6 pack of Alaskan Winter Ale...close enough. And some clothes that mostly don't fit. No purely model airplane goodies, no bass fishing goodies. No cash, either, but did get a Fred Meyer gift card ($1?) and a Wen polisher, from my son Daniel.

http://www.lanescarproducts.com/wen-6--random-orbit-polisher.html

They say I'm hard to shop for, yet I also accept Shari's (local restaurant chain...better than Denny's) gift cards. I think they use the Angus part of the beef.  LL~ Steve
