OK guys my flying is done for the rest of the year. It's a long story, but here is the short version. I was darting into my garage because it started to rain. Well during the process of dart / running 3 toes on my right foot landed on the edge of my driveway. As I was pushing off with much force I heard a crack / pop sound, and yes I broke my 3rd metrotorsel (no spelled right but top bone in my foot). Well if things didn’t get better the Orthopedic Doctor said the bone sometimes moves around and could require a pin well after a week in a boot, and a visit to the Doctor after a week to check on the break.. Well the bad news was delivered 2 pins were installed into my foot on Monday and crutches for 4 weeks...... I'm going nuts. Oh did I tell you all that I'm a safety manager too and man have I been ripped by the entire employee’s. HB~>

As my ol' Dad used to say: mistakes never look like mistakes ... when you're making them. I've certainly done some foolish things that seemed like a good idea at the time.

I think we have done something we regretted later. I was in a hurry to go start my car in the company lot one winter. Forgot about the water main break in the back of the building. Went running aroung the corner of the building and hit solid ice. Landed flat on my back. Was in better shape back then as I never even got sore.
Now as far as flying talk to Carl Shoup about using the wheel chair he used at VSC one year.
Have fun now and do what the doctor says. DOC Holliday n1
