We need help with pushrod config. Please.

Ryan and I need a little help with the push rod config.

This is on his ARF Tutor II.
The instructions say  (and show) the push rods hooked like the photo below. But it seems it would work better if I put the flap pushrod under the elev push rod on the flap horn.

Is this the way we have it hooked up correct?
Please advise.

 I would move the elevator push rod up one hole and use the same hole on the elevator horn. The bellcrank to flap pushrod in my experience always goes on top.

Side note:
The wife and I painted the garage floor this weekend with expoxy paint. Looks real good. As I painted by my SkyRay haning on the wall and asked her what the directions said about how long it takes for the expoxy to dry before we could walk on it. 16 Hrs was her reply.
I was just able to reach my Skyray and pull it off the wall. Just in case I get to fly before then.

 Sorry I pushed the wrong key. Reread my post, change the elevator
push rod, up one hole on the flap horn and down one hole on the elevator horn.

However what you are showing there is going to flex. I would suggest replacing with CF push rods.

Yup, I already saw the flex and have slipped a fiber glass rod over the push rod and put plugs in each end. Glue in with JB weld and will wrap and expoxy over that.
I replaced the bellcrank, and I have Hayes clevis with steel pins on the elev.

Let me throw a monkey wrench into this discussion.

The Brodak Cardinal actually tells you to put the flap push rod in the middle hole at the flap, then the elevator push rod goes from the outside hole back to the same hole in the back.

Don't be afraid to change things. The main objective is to get the control throws suited to the model and to the pilot. Nothing else matters.  

Some of my models also fly better with less flap throw (compared to elevator). The nice thing about a profile is everything is out in the open so you can experiment a little.

Sparky is right about those control rods. They look a little flimsy in the photo.
