We had rain for the past two days.... today it was sun shine and around 63. Yahoo weather said 5-10 mph winds. I could not stand it because we may not get another day like this until May. So I packed up the Tutor II and asked my youngest son Josh to launch his dad for a few flights. When we got to the field the wind was blowing a little more then 10 mph. It was a little more then I wanted but just had to burn some fuel.
Put up two good flights. Second flight I was going to do the pattern but the wind was not in my favor. I bailed after the H-8's. It was still better then sitting at home on such a nice day.
Josh got video on his ifone but deleted before we got home by mistake. Oh well.
Now back to the work bench.

Only 10 MPH for the wind. That is a gentle breeze for us. At least you got out.

Hey Doc,
10 mph winds is what yahoo weather was showing me but when I got out to the wide open field it was more like 15 mph or better. When doing loops the plane would really turn back quick, fast, and in a hurry. n~ %^ ~^

OK Rootbeard; If you don't have anything nice to say, well you know. '' We are having drizzle, 33 deg., and fog. Every where you go it is a mudball. So, Thanks alot buddy for reminding us, that maybe, someday in the future, we will get to fly again. You lucky dog you. HB~>

It's mid 60's here in central Ga. today and no wind at all it feels like. I am going out right after work.

Well here is "Sunny Kalifourkneeya" it's been raining and windy. Todays forcast . . . rain and winds to 15-20mph by noon. I think I'll stay home and get some brownie points by taking the wife to lunch.
The pic was from last night;

Paul,
Down here in Anniston, AL we got up to about 68 today, beautiful flying weather, except, I had a DR.'s appointment today and even if I had been off from that I would have been at Tom's house turning arrow shafts into take apart hardware. The first day the high with light winds gets to 72+ I'll get Tom to go out to McClellan and fly, fly, fly!

Hey Howard; This is one of those times times you read something on the internet and "assume". I googled the quote and the best I could find was along the line of "attributed to", or "credited to" but no proof. It's a great quote anyway. I'll change it to "Unknown". While searching I found another I like; "A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone."
Have a great Fly-Day"!
