Water transfer printing. Has anyone tried it on airplanes?

Water transfer printing

I recently learned about this process, which has been around a few years. Patterns are transferred from a film of ink floating on water. Besides the obvious matter of dipping an airplane in water.

I kind of like the "stone" pattern.

I tried to find a short video for a sample.

Interesting! I think faux "granite" would look swell on an overweight stunter.  :-[ Steve

PS: How come this spell check thinks "faux" is wrong? It ain't. Look it up on www.Dictionary.com
