My wife took a break from painting flowers and landscape to paint another one of me with my plane. This was taken from a picture at VSC 2006 with me and my Taurus.
-
Jim that's amazing! Wouldn't mind having a copy of that.
Dave
See you in Topeka!
-
WOW! Outstanding! H^^
-
That's really neat! y1
Sure would be nice to see something like that on the cover of Model Aviation. :)
-
Very cool indeed. Your wife has a very subtle style in her painting. She's very good.
-
Very nice Jim.
-
That's beautiful Jim! Thanks for posting that

Lova says to thank you all for your kind words. She reminded me that the original picture was a photo by the Great Elwyn Aud. Elwyn more than anyone can capture model aviation at its best. Lova did take some liberty or artists licence with the original but tried to capture it with an impression.

You are so lucky.
-
Wow. Such a nice gift! Watercolor can be a difficult medium at times. Lova did a fine job with this one.

Thanks Mike; She needs all of the encouragement she can get, and she knows you are the real artist. She loves water color and seems to stick with that doing mostly flowers, birds, and landscape. I think this may be her 6th painting of model plane stuff. I try to critique her paintings but after 56 years of marriage she says I lie. LOL She is probably right.

Lova did very well on this painting; She captured the essence of Jim Kraft.

Lova says not so De. She said she left my horns under my hat. Artist license you know.
-
". . . She said she left my horns under my hat . . ."
